Join us on Friday evening, 12 March at 6.30pm, to celebrate a special Kabbalat Shabbat. This Friday our guest of honour will be Rabbi Margie Slome. Rabbi Slome is Rabbi Emerita of West End Temple, where she served for 15 years. She was ordained as a rabbi at the Hebrew Union College-Jewish Institute of Religion in New York City. She is the former Rabbi Educator at Congregation Beth Elohim in Park Slope, Brooklyn and directed many programs for the Jewish Board of Family and Children’s Services in New York City. She is a past co-chairperson of the Women’s Rabbinic Network, a national organization of Reform Jewish women rabbis, a past president of the Brooklyn Association of Reform Rabbis as well as past chairperson of the Women’s Rabbinic Alliance. Beth Shalom Milano is truly honoured to host a guest of Rabbi Slome’s caliber at our forthcoming Kabbalat Shabbat.
